He proudly boasts a diploma from the esteemed American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). Eric would tell you that those years were spent diligently studying ancient texts and meridian theory, but mostly they involved memorizing which points sound the funniest (hello, "Stomach 36"!) and figuring out how to thread a needle with his eyes closed.

His Approach (or: Why Are We Doing This?)

Eric’s philosophy is simple: Your body is basically a badly organized storage unit, and he's here with the tiny, sterile keys to unlock the forgotten boxes of pain and stress.

• He’s a Purist: He believes that if you can't trace the theory back to a text written on bamboo scrolls, it's probably just a fad. (He still uses an actual map to find new patients, just in case.)
• The Needles: Tiny, hair-thin, and yet somehow everywhere. Don’t worry; they barely hurt. (That’s what he's legally obligated to say, anyway.)
• The Energy: He’s been working on his Qi for years, and he’s pretty sure it’s why his phone battery lasts longer than everyone else’s.

When he’s not busy turning chronic pain into a manageable inconvenience, Eric can be found critiquing the feng shui of local Heights coffee shops or passionately arguing that his carpal tunnel is an occupational hazard he’s chosen to embrace.
